ISRAEL, a nation that may not be very large in terms of area and yet is one of the biggest name when it comes to Military Power, Scientific Advancements, IT Developments & Growing Economy. The State of Israel is a beautiful nation, located in the Middle East (Asia) with a rich historical, cultural and religious importance for the entire world. Not many of us know that this 20th Century Nation was formed to provide shelter to one of the most ill-treated and tortured people of the world. Majority of the people in this incredible country belongs to the JEWS Community, whose forefathers were once tortured in the concentration camps of the German Nazi Forces during the period of the Second World War!
The ‘Jews’ who migrated from Germany and the other war affected European nations like Austria, Poland, France, Italy etc. to the Middle Eastern region of the Asian continent were mostly the survivors of the Holocaust. It is a known fact that the German Head, Adolf Hitler, hated the Jews and he went to all stretches to torture the innocent Jews during the Second World War. Jews were seriously mistreated in Germany during the Great War period and the Nazi soldiers & supporters openly used to attack them on the streets. In addition, they were also sent to the concentration camps, where they were further tortured till death. No amount of words can describe their pain, hardships and sufferings so I would rather stop here and tell you about those brave survivors, who went ahead to form their own nation for their safety & prosperity.
Well, that was the story behind the formation of the State of Israel – a nation that was formed in the year 1948. Ever since the formation of Israel, the nation faced tremendous amount of troubles by her neighbouring countries of the Middle East. It seemed that there was no rest & no safe heaven for those poor Jews. Yet those brave survivors defended their nation, that too when all the Arab Nations together attacked the newly formed Israel. We Indians need to learn this kind of bravery from Israel, today India too is facing a serious threat of two front war from China & Pakistan together so it is high time for us to learn from Israel and be prepared with a Military Force that can defend us on both fronts at the same time!
In just few years of the formation of Israel, the country went on to make great technological advancements, which boosted their economy as well to a great extent. Now, this is again one area where we Indians need to learn from Israel, a nation that was formed a year after our independence from the Britishers. Now, more than 75 years have passed since our independence and we have yet not made significant progress in the paths of technology. Each time, our excuse is that we are an ‘Agrarian Society’ however; we refuse to acknowledge that agricultural production as well as technological advancements can go side by side. Israel today has made a great deal of progress in the field of weapons manufacturing & development due to her technological advancements only. Interestingly, Israel is also exporting weapons to countries like India & China, who are known to have the largest army in the world.
India has recently started taken some necessary steps for the production of ‘Semi Conductors’ on her own soil and this step can help us to take some great leaps in the paths of technological advancement. Well, Israel has inspired us to a great extend to do so, as our PM Narendra Modi realised to the importance of having a ‘Semi-Conductor’ industry in the nation from his famous 2017 visit of Israel. Production of Semi-Conductors on our own soil can help us a lot to make path-breaking progress in the Information Technology (IT) Sector like Israel. Moreover, we Indians also need to learn a lot from the Israelis in the field of ‘Space Technology’ as that will help us to make some remarkable scientific progress!
Finally, more than anything else we Indians need to learn the Israeli way of ‘Patriotism!’ Well, almost every person in Israel is patriotic and the Israeli citizens always makes sure to put their country ahead of anything else. Unfortunately, we Indians do not always care about the integrity of our motherland and some of us puts own self-interest ahead of the interest of our country.
