Renowned Legal Luminaries Inspire Aspiring Lawyers at NMIMS Chandigarh’s Moot Court Workshop

Chandigarh, 21st September 2023 — The School of Law at SVKM’s NMIMS Chandigarh recently hosted a transformative event entitled “Moot Court Workshop: Skills and Court Mannerisms.” This event proved to be an invaluable opportunity for students to engage with prominent legal professionals who shared their wisdom regarding the legal profession and the pivotal role that Moot Court competitions play in shaping future careers.

Moot courts help law students bridge the gap between what they learn in class and real-life law practice. It also helps students hone their case-arguing skills, do legal research, and think critically. Moreover, moot courts aid in building teamwork and boost writing skills in budding lawyers.

Guiding the proceedings was the esteemed Dr. Jaskiran Kaur, the Campus Director of NMIMS Chandigarh. The workshop featured distinguished luminaries from the legal realm, including Advocate Ravneet Singh Joshi, and Advocate Harlove Singh Rajput. These accomplished legal stalwarts generously imparted their profound insights and experiences to enlighten the eager minds of the students, offering a broader perspective on the multifaceted world of Moot Court.

Inaugurating the event, Dr. Jaskiran Kaur expressed heartfelt appreciation for the esteemed speakers who graced NMIMS School of Law with their presence.
