MAY THE MONTH OF SUMMER – Summer LifeStyle

May is the month of summer and the most exciting activities.

Isn’t? There are so many memories related in our mind when we think about May month. When we all were children, we used to love this month, as this month was entirely dedicated to our activities. The month of May is the month when our relatives, our lovely cousins, get shuffled from here to there. It is the month of travelling with our beautiful people to many places. The alarm clock is off, and EVERYDAY IS SUNDAY for the children. And above all, how can I forget to mention ”Mangoes”? Those different kinds of mangoes, in the heat of summer, give an extra kick to our holidays. 

May Month – Me Month- The Month of MY TIME

I call this month ‘Me Month’. Why? Of course, No school, additional studies, exams, nothing. Nature takes shape; the birds build the nest, and the summer flowers give the orange reflections. The quiet afternoons and the warm breeze make us sit in our houses. If you have never experienced so, do try this, read books in the month of summer. In the quiet place of your balcony or veranda and share the reading. After that, you can thank me later!

The parks are full of people and lots of children. By the way, this month is the best month for those people who want to lose weight too. Walking in nature, it not only boosts the mood, but it also shreds your extra kilos too. 

I know some people don’t like this heat and this month too. But c’mon, May month brings so many things along. The sun shines brightly, and the sunset of the warm evenings turns the sky into a canvas. It seems as if the painter had stroked the brush dipped in an orange shade of the sky. 

Healthy Habits

  • Always wear sunscreen lotion before going under the sun. Wear caps and sunglasses and avoid straying unnecessarily.
  • Drink plenty of water, fruit juices, and coconut water
  • To consume curd regularly.
  • Avoid frying spicy food.
  • If you are non-vegetarian, move your taste buds and eat as many vegetables as possible for a couple of months.
  • Wear light colors and open slippers or sandals. Only wear Cotton or Linen.

Choose Your Fun Activities

There are so many fun things always included in the month of May. There are swimming, trekking, learning something new skills from your interest, playing matches and reading many books. But don't you think that in the scorching heat of summer, it is our responsibility to look out for our nature. Trees, Plants, flowers they all need us in the same way how we need them. Gardening new summer plants with our family, nurturing them regularly with love and care can develop the qualities of humbleness and caring towards each other. 


Either you can waste or you can bring out the best
