Y Srinivas: My own life has inspired me to write this book. I actually wanted to share my life story with people. When I competed the book and we friends were having a discussion and then I asked, what should be the title of my book? Any suggestions? One of the my Friends said “Be Thirty at Sixty”. It just stuck me and that’s how the title was born.
Akhila Saroha: How easy or difficult was it for you to write on a subject that held relevance for all and remain objective about them in “Be Thirty at Sixty”?
Y Srinivas: It was not at all difficult as I was sharing my experience which was real and on the other hand, I was trying to make that relevant to each of the reader reading it because, this is a problem with 90% of the people in our society across all ages, they age much earlier than they naturally should.
Akhila Saroha: What are your views about present-day writing? Do you think it does complete justice in depicting human nature in the light of “Be Thirty at Sixty”?
Y Srinivas: Can’t really generalize this statement. Yes! People in general are becoming health conscious but only at physical level. A lot needs to be done to make the audience realise the importance of mental or emotional health.
Akhila Saroha: “Be Thirty at Sixty” shows the uniqueness of your style of writing. Are there any authors that you enjoy reading or any books which are your favorites?
Y Srinivas: I was not a reader till few years back though my children and wife are great readers. I pickup and self help book and enjoy it. I read all books of APJ Abdul Kalam, Robin Sharma, Tony Robbins etc.

Y Srinivas: It’s my own story, so very authentic. I am 58 now but my looks and energy levels are that of 30. I shared my own life story right from childhood by making it more interesting.
Akhila Saroha: How easy or difficult was it for you to write of others’ experiences which you only heard of without hampering the readers’ perception in “Be Thirty at Sixty”?
Y Srinivas: It was difficult initially and use to think, how can I experience others feelings but as I went through in my journey, I felt it is very easy. Just looking at the body language, the words they use and interacting with them for 10 mins, I can understand their internal feelings to a large extent.
Akhila Saroha: In the present time, situations in “Be Thirty at Sixty” do not find much mention. What, according to you, could be the possible reason for that?

People doesn’t think about the furture
