Nilkanth Patil is a highly accomplished mechanical engineer and management professional with a strong background in sales and product management. With more than experience of 25 years in the industry, he has garnered extensive knowledge and expertise in driving successful sales teams and achieving continuous growth.

Currently, Nilkanth holds the position of Regional Product Manager at an MNC overseeing operations in 14 countries across the Asia-Pacific region. His role entails managing and strategizing product offerings to meet the diverse needs of customers within this expansive market.

Throughout his career, Nilkanth has primarily focused on capital equipment sales. This specialization has given him a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of the field. Having worked extensively on the ground, he possesses valuable field experience, which provides him with a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities within the industry.

Nilkanth Patil: I am very happy for the publication of my book, and big thanks to Astitva Prakashan. I received pleasant feedback from readers online as well as face-to-face. Readers expressed that the book is really helpful for their business growth strategy.

The Literature Times: What motivates you to become a writer?

Nilkanth Patil: My goal was to compile and produce a practical guide for business growth by sharing the lessons I have learned from different countries.

The Literature Times: What are your favourite writing topics? Please tell us a little bit about your literary interests.

Nilkanth Patil: Since I have worked in the business world for a long time, business is my favorite topic to discuss. My other interests are social issues, sports, and politics.

The Literature Times: We were hoping you might tell us about some of the authors that have influenced you and who you read!

Nilkanth Patil: Yes, I liked Shiv Khera, Robert Kiyosaki,J.K. Rawling

The Literature Times: The title is unique and appealing; how did you come up with them? Please tell us the story behind it.

Nilkanth Patil: One of the most important tasks for any business is sales. Selling poorly is a struggle for the company. Thus, I picture the sales growth exploding like a wildfire, quickly expanding from nowhere to everywhere.

The Literature Times: What are your achievements so far? Tell us something about your writing career.

Nilkanth Patil: I have been writing since my childhood in the form of articles in Marathi newspapers, as it has been my hobby. After working for long time, I decided to publish my own book, which can be helpful for any business for sales growth. I used my experience to fulfil my wish.

The Literature Times: What is your current goal in writing a career? How do you see your future in writing?

Nilkanth Patil: The success of my first book, which is beneficial to many professionals and businesses, makes me happy. I hope to write more books about Indian social issues, business, and other topics.

The Literature Times: Do you have any other novels in the works? Please keep us updated on your future endeavours.

Nilkanth Patil: I have not yet started, but I have it in mind. I will surely update you once I confirm it.

The Literature Times: How do you view Indian writing in the twenty-first century? What changes do you see in today’s writing style? Do you feel it has been changed by the time?

Nilkanth Patil: there has been a shift towards experimentation with form and language. Many contemporary Indian writers are pushing the boundaries of conventional storytelling techniques, incorporating elements of magical realism, nonlinear narratives, and multimedia formats into their works.The influence of technology and social media has also impacted the way Indian writers engage with their audiences. Authors now have direct access to readers through platforms like blogs, social networking sites, and self-publishing platforms, allowing for greater interaction and feedback.

The Literature Times: How simple/difficult was it for you to publish your book? What message do you want to send to aspiring authors?

Though initially looking simple, it requires lot of patience and time allocation once you start writing. Once your writing tasks are completed, most of them depend on the support of the publication. Luckily, I was associated with Astitva Prakashan, which helped me a lot with my publication.
