Dr. Rajesh, what inspired you to write a book about Modern Indian English Literature, and how did the idea of focusing on competition exams come to life?

    Ans:- Yes, my solutionative problem during that time inspired me to write this type of book. For many years, students have to face problems in Modern Indian English Literature including me, that’s why,my focus is on exam oriented book should we have.

    As someone with a deep understanding of Indian literature, how do you see the evolution of modern Indian English literature in terms of themes and style?

    Ans:- Actually, when we talk about Modern Indian English Literature,we recall only poets and authors of early 19th century but not about the authors of modern era. That time, Indian authors had one or two dimensional stability but in this time, poets and authors have multiple dimensions in writing,so I tried very hard to reduce the gap between dimensions of themes and styles.

    Can you share a memorable moment from your own journey of studying or teaching Indian English literature that deeply influenced this book?

    Ans:- Yes, off course, share my studying and teaching journey of Indian English Literature. I was very serious while going through R K Narayan’s book but later,I touchhed partition novel of Khushwant Singh, I inspired a lot and made a memorable moment in my life. My seriousness would be changed into light mood for study. It’s really memorable.

    What do you believe is the most important aspect of Indian literature that students often overlook, and how does your book aim to address that gap?

    Ans:- The students are overlooking because of inappropriate guide of Modern Indian English Literature. Modern students think smartly in this way too. Young readers need to modify the approach of Modernity in literature as Chetan Bhagat, Kulpreet Yadav, Dr.Kumar Vishwas or others. My book also addresses the ultra- modern approach of Indianness in literature.

    How did you balance the academic depth of the subject with the accessibility needed for students preparing for competitive exams in your book?

    Ans:- Actually, my book is written for only exam oriented as UGC NET, STET, TET, PGT and others. From past to present, the most important points would be highlighted and written in balanced way in my book. I hope that my book “Competition Crackers” is the most useful for the competitive examinations.

    In your opinion, how has the role of Indian novelists, poets, and fiction writers evolved in the context of modern society, and what makes their work relevant today?

    Ans:-  In my opinion, the role of Indian authors, novelists and poets is really very important because their centre of writing is Indian Culture, Indian City, Indian Village, Indian Life, Indian Society in Modern Indian English Literature that’s why, their work is the most relevant today.

    Who are some of your favorite authors or poets in modern Indian literature, and how did they shape your approach to writing this book?

    Ans:- My favourite authors like Arundhati Roy,R K Narayan as same as Khushwant Singh. Their journey deeply impressed me and their limitations of thoughts shaped my interest of writing.

    Your book is a one-stop guide for various competitive exams—how do you ensure that such a diverse audience finds the content both informative and engaging? Ans:- If you look for a complete guide of Modern Indian English Literature for various competitive examinations, I ensure you that you must go through my book which is exam oriented. This book is all in one for cracking the various exams.

    For students preparing for competitive exams, what advice would you give on how to approach studying modern Indian English literature effectively?

    Ans:- In modern era, digitalization is all over at wide scale but I would like to say that off- line study is the best to get the highest score in the exams. This book is as a useful device for competition’s point of view.

    Finally, after writing this book, what do you hope readers take away from it, both in terms of knowledge and their broader understanding of modern Indian English literature?

      Ans:- This book is really different than others because every chapter of this book is full of informativeness and subjectiveness. This book has also a deep sense at one bunch having knowledge and solutions. That’s why, I hope that this book keeps readers away from commons.
