Contributing to the literary genre called POETRY, the book ‘Mai Hi Kyu?’authored by Sneha Vishwakarma is undoubtedly a reflection of the author’s self as happy or sad or engulfed with thoughts of the past endeavors and failures at times. Moreover, being one of the mass called humans his work is a successful attempt in portraying the vicissitudes and sunny and cloudy days that every human comes across in life.
Each of the ‘58 Poems’ in this book are like the unique sketch of emotional love, pain that comes in human life, factors that affects the life of people and so on.
About the Author: Author-Poet, Sneha Vishwakarma was born in Bhatapara, a small town in the state of Chhattisgarh. She had pursued her primary as well as higher education from Bhatapara and Bhilai in Chhattisgarh. Later she moved to the city of Bangalore, where she lives with her daughter and husband. Author Sneha is a techie by day and a writer by night. Sneha is an IT professional, artist, and writer from Bangalore, India. Her writing typically focuses on ironies of lives and phases of relationships; hoping that her writing will give the words to those who have gone through and felt like what she did.
Apart from writing, she has a deep interest in traditional Indian art. Her source of inspiration is those very experiences that life has to offer, gift, surprise, and stuns. It was an undeniably lovely experience for her to create this small anthology and she is hopeful to come soon with many different anthologies. Recently, she had also published an English poetry collection book, which is titled as ‘I am the Moon: Verses of Gloom, Love and Hope!’

In addition, I must mention that the title of this book is much “Justified” with regards to the poems in this book. Undoubtedly, it is a very apt for this poetry collection book and the Author had been extremely wise to go for this title.
Book Cover: The portrayal of “a bird feather at the bottom and several birds appearing from that feather, up in the sky and flying” in the book’s front cover is not just giving a very “Specular Impression” but also, creating a very optimistic and beautiful vibe just like the Book’s Title! The readers can interpret the book cover design in a thousand different ways as per their sense of interpretation. However, the most common interpretation could be that the illustration on the book cover is showing the emotions of the poet, as she too wants to fly, high in the sky by expressing herself and attaining the peace of mind, which one gets through freedom.
Readers’ Connect: One of the amazing thing about this poetry collection book is that the Author has been very much successful in indulging the readers with her poems. The poems in this book are written in such a wonderful manner that it seems that the poet is directly conversing with her readers. In addition, the readers too could simply feel that the poet is telling her stories to them, as if they are in a conversation. Well, this is something truly incredible and undoubtedly an
