According to a report published on Sunday in India’s quarterly journal GreatGameIndia, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) funded the non-governmental organisation PATH (Program for Appropriate Technology in Health) in Seattle to conduct HPV vaccine trials on over 14,000 tribal girls in Telangana’s Khammam in 2009.
The experiment, which was directly sponsored by BMGF on tribal girls, employed two kinds of HPV vaccines: Merck’s Gardasil and GlaxoSmithKline’s Cervarix.
