Questionnaires:

Neel Preet: Firstly, Congratulations on your book, “NAAGSHISYA – The Prologue!” Well, can you please share your experience about making your work come in the form of book!

Thakur Aniket Singh: Thank you Neel. I loved stories since my childhood and when i grew up me and my brother used to make short films. So I was always writing and somehow it happened. I myself don’t know how this little day dream became a book.

Neel Preet: What inspired you to write this book? What was the impetus behind this work of yours?

Thakur Aniket Singh: So I have spent my life in many regions of Chhattisgarh and most fascinating places are the rural ones. And the story is loosely based on our folklores so the stories that village elders told me in the cold nights by the fire inspired me to write this story.

Neel Preet: Your book title, ‘NAAGSHISYA – The Prologue’ is definitely a catchy one! So, can you please explain the reasons for going with this book title!

Thakur Aniket Singh: The story revolves around a cult that exorcises ghosts and fights with Asuras who worship snake gods. That’s why I named it Naagshisya.

Neel Preet: Well, can you please explain that how is this book different from the other books of the same genre?

Thakur Aniket Singh: First of all it’s written by me and it is a lot different from other books. It has a raw and edgy storyline. With action scenes which might give you goosebumps or make you uneasy. I can’t tell more about the book but you should read it it’s fun.

” A nice warm adventure story about a picnic ”

Neel Preet: Apart from this literary fiction writing, in which other genres would you like to make your contributions?

Thakur Aniket Singh: Well, I would love to write about love and romance. Where after doing everything, being nice and caring the prince loses his princess to a monster who doesn’t even put in any effort.

Neel Preet: After reading this book, I’m greatly impressed & I want you to explain us, in your version, that how this book will appeal the readers of the present day!

Thakur Aniket Singh: This book is made for readers of the present day; I haven’t used any metaphor nor any literary makeup. Reading it, would feel like the stories your friends used to tell on drives or night outs.

Neel Preet: Next, I want you to tell us about some of those writers, who had inspired you!

Thakur Aniket Singh: ahh, first of all Maharshi Ved Vyas his stories built my foundation and after that I wanna thank Stephen King, Franz Kafka, DOSTOEVSKY, George R. R. Martin and Kevin missal.

Neel Preet: Is there any message that you would like to convey to your readers? Or any piece of advice, which you would like to give to the readers out there!

Thakur Aniket Singh: I just want to say that the world is a harsh place, here you understand how much love you give to whom and how much love you get. Because all your efforts matter. Make your heart strong. Teach your heart to accept all the painful decision; even its really against what the heart wants.

Neel Preet: Are there any other books being worked by you? Please let us know about your future projects.

Thakur Aniket Singh: Yes, I’m currently working on two books. First one is the Naagshisya Chapter 1 and another is THE GOLDEN RATIO. Hope you get them as soon as possible.

Neel Preet: Thank you so much for answering all my questions. All the very best to you for future and your book too!

Thakur Aniket Singh: Thank you Neel it was nice meeting you.
