An Interview with AuthorShoumic Shit – NWLK-B1

In “NWLK-B1,” Shoumic Shit embarks on a mission to redefine the landscape of health and fitness, offering readers not just a manual for physical well-being, but a profound exploration into the depths of holistic wellness. Through his innovative K’Yoga exercises, Shit unveils a revolutionary approach that transcends the boundaries of traditional fitness routines.

The Literature Times: Congratulations on the launch of your book. Can you share what initially inspired you to develop the K’Yoga exercises and write NWLK-B1?

Shoumic Shit: Thanks a lot to The Literature Times for this recognition. NWLK stands for No Weight Lifting from K’Yoga. When I innovated these exercises based on the concept of Kinetic Energy and Potential Energy movements, I conceptualized them as K’Yoga exercise, where K is for Kinetic. Initially, I didn’t intend to use dumbbells as I don’t believe in weight lifting exercises due to their declining effectiveness over time and the potential for muscle stiffness with age. However, I eventually realized that using weights for kinetic and potential movements could strengthen the nerves of our body rather than just the muscles. This is rooted in ancient yoga techniques, where backward bending asanas are known to bring youthfulness and agility to the body through an active nervous system. Thus, I developed NWLK and NWLK-B1, which have had a positive effect on my own body at the age of 42.

The Literature Times: How do you believe your background and personal experiences have influenced your approach to health and fitness?

Shoumic Shit: Working in a bank, I spend long periods seated, engaging in more mental work than physical. Without regular exercise, this lifestyle could lead to poor health. At 33, I was diagnosed with diabetes due to unhealthy eating habits. Feeling hopeless, I turned to yoga and other exercises, but found them ineffective. This led me to develop my own exercises based on kinetic and potential energy movements to burn extra calories and control my blood sugar levels. By improving my diet and incorporating these exercises, I managed to control inflammation and blood sugar levels, ultimately leading to better health and a realization that such innovative exercises could be developed.

The Literature Times: Could you elaborate on the concept of tapping into our innate youthfulness, as outlined in your book?

Shoumic Shit: When I was younger, I practiced yoga asanas extensively and discovered the benefits of backward bending poses in rejuvenating the body. This inspired me to use kinetic and potential energy movements to mimic the effects of backward bending on the spine, thereby promoting youthfulness.

The Literature Times: What do you see as the key differences between traditional Yogasanas and the NWLK exercises you’ve introduced?

Shoumic Shit: Traditional yogasanas are undoubtedly beneficial, but innovation and improvement are necessary. Transitioning from static exercises to dynamic movements, such as kinetic to potential and vice versa, has numerous advantages over traditional static poses, often overcoming inertia.

The Literature Times: Can you explain the significance of the NWLK B0+B1=C1 concept and how it shapes your fitness regimen?

Shoumic Shit: The NWLK B0+B1=C1 concept has significantly improved my spinal posture, strengthened my nervous system, and restored much of my youthfulness. However, proper nutrition is crucial, as weight is used to facilitate kinetic and potential movements, stretching and strengthening the nervous system, particularly the spine, to promote youthful agility.

The Literature Times: In your opinion, what role does nutrition play in complementing the K’Yoga exercises for overall wellness?

Shoumic Shit: Nutrition is vital, as without a proper diet, exercise alone cannot achieve optimal results. Each individual’s dietary needs may vary, but a balanced diet is essential for supporting exercise and overall health.

The Literature Times: Could you share any success stories or testimonials from individuals who have adopted the NWLK-B1 approach to health and fitness?

Shoumic Shit: Currently, there are no success stories or testimonials available.

The Literature Times: How do you envision the future of holistic well-being and the integration of ancient wisdom with modern fitness techniques?

Shoumic Shit: Change is inevitable, and challenges lie ahead. Innovation and improvement are essential in adapting ancient wisdom to modern needs, ensuring holistic well-being.

The Literature Times: What advice would you offer to readers who are just beginning their journey towards optimal health and vitality?

Shoumic Shit: Learn from the mistakes of previous generations, especially regarding diet and exercise. Preserve your youthfulness by adopting healthy habits and exercise routines suited to your needs.

The Literature Times: Are there any upcoming projects or developments in the works that you can hint at for your readers and followers?

Shoumic Shit: At this time, I am focused on continuing with the NWLK series of exercises, which I believe is a game-changer. After four years of development, I plan to continue practicing and refining these exercises to maintain and enhance my youthful vitality.
