Deepak Joshi: My sole inspiration was to highlight the family values. The friendship and the unforeseen success achieved and yet be grounded in family roots.

Deepak Joshi: It is very simple, as different people have helped me prosper in my career and personal life. Mentioning them was my way of thanking them for shaping me and my career and imparting key learning for a lifetime.

Deepak Joshi: The message is simple: a normal, humble beginning and dedication can lead you to a perfectly fulfilling life. Yes, Golden Days did provide me ample space for expressing my ideas.

Deepak Joshi: Yes, Golden Days does extend a relevance to universal and current issues, as staying connected with family and friends is important. We see many people left alone in the current world due to a lack of company and battling health issues. When you stay with family and friends, you build a robust atmosphere around you.

Deepak Joshi: The writing process was simple, and I tried to capture most of what was happening in real-time. Yes, we did frequent revisions.

Deepak Joshi: Well, it’s a lifetime memoir mentioning real-life experiences with its own share of excitement to convey.

Deepak Joshi: I commenced writing the Book during Lockdown, and then towards 2021, work started. Then, there were health issues with family members, leading to a delay in publishing the book. Otherwise, it was a very smooth journey.
Akhila: Out of curiosity, could you briefly outline your writing plans after completing “Golden Days”?
Deepak Joshi: I have already started working on another book, and surely, I shall publish it within a year.
