The book highlights the parts where her life was full of turmoil during her prime youth days and how the state of Jammu & Kashmir was reeling under terrorism, which made it difficult for the denizens to live there and her family was no exception. This book has various shades like love, romance, misery tragedy displacement, and distress. Despite the difficulties faced by the Hindu Pandit community, they stayed united even when they were forced to live in tents, migrant camps & makeshift arrangements!
Further, the book talks about the burning scenario of the Kashmir valley and mentions that how the same region, which was once called Switzerland of India has now turned into a hell for the Hindus. The author highlights the facts that how the majority community of the Kashmir Valley got involved in the ‘Anti-National Activities’ and forced the Hindu Pandit community to flee their homes where their ancestors had lived for ages.
Through this title, the author also recalls the natural beauty of the Kashmir Valley and talks about how Kashmir used to be a prime tourist destination during the good old days, when things were at peace in the valley. Well, if we go over the readers’ connect part for this book then interestingly we can note that this title, ‘The Soulful Journey’ is written in a real appealing manner. In addition, the various chapters in this title are indeed engrossing & fascinating and the narration carried out by the author is so amazingly lucid, that it would totally hook the readers until the very last page of this incredibly written title. Moreover, it should be noted that this is one such title, which will make the readers think about the stories inside this book for several times, even after completing the book.
