Author Bio: I am Anshu Priya. I hail from greater Noida, and I work in a Pharma consultancy. I love to write stories based on love and romance. I always wanted to draft a story that tells us how love can change your lives. In this modern world, where we all are forgetting what true love means? I write this story that can tell us that finding relationships is easy, but maintaining them, takes a lot of courage, sacrifice, and patience.
The Literature Times: Author, welcome to The Literature Times. Congratulations on the publication of your book! What feedback do you get from your readers? Please share your thoughts on this book.
Author: You are the Reason I am Alive Today is the first book written by me. The story revolves around Alisha and Anirudh who met in school for the first time. The story tells us how even staying miles away from each other they never give up on their love. It is full of emotions, suspense, and a bit of drama, which makes us realize the meaning of true love. I am getting a good response from the readers in terms of writing style adaptation and depiction of the characters and scenes, and the smooth transitions. They loved this short love story of 100 pages that makes them emotional at times and leaves an impact on their heart.
The Literature Times: What motivates you to become a writer?
Author: I always love to read romantic love stories. It was back in 2020 when I decided to explore my writing skills. Initially, I began to write short stories of 1-2 pages (a particular scene such as My first date, He proposed to me, etc). With time, I started enjoying it and decided to draft a whole book having all my imaginations written and compiled in one place. In addition, I have observed the misunderstanding about love in our generation, so I have decided to convey my message through the mode of writing, and as a result, I finally published my book.
The Literature Times: What are your favourite writing topics? Please tell us a little bit about your literary interests.
Author: I am more inclined towards the romantic genre along with some self-help books. However, I prefer to write love stories that are pure, and true. A story that can tell us that finding a relationship is easy today but maintaining it needs a lot of patience, understanding, and compromises. No one has a fairy-tale, but we can make one, and it all needs courage. This is the simple message I want to give to all the readers out there.
The Literature Times: We were hoping you might tell us about some of the authors that have influenced you and who you read!
Author: Okay, so I love to read Ravinder Singh, Ajay K Pandey, and Rohit Dawesar. They have written some enjoyable books and depicted their characters in perfect ways and the story runs flawlessly. It was Rohit Dawesar’s “No matter what I will always love you” that inspired me, and I started converting my small writings into a book
The Literature Times: The title is unique and appealing; how did you come up with them? Please tell us the story behind it.
Author: Alright, so when I started writing my story, I had no idea what my book title should look like. While writing I reach a point where Anirudh helped Alisha to come back to her normal life and live it happily and that was the point, I have decided to name my book –You are the Reason I am Alive Today
The Literature Times: What are your achievements so far? Tell us something about your writing career.
Author: This is my first published book, and I am looking forward to keep writing because I enjoy it.
The Literature Times: What is your current goal in writing a career? How do you see your future in writing?
Author: Right now, this is just the beginning of my career as a writer. And I think if we give our consistent efforts to one thing and stay focused then success will be ours. So, I will continue writing. This is what I can say right now.
The Literature Times: Do you have any other novels in the works? Please keep us updated on your future endeavours.
Author: So, the answer is yes. You are the Reason I am Alive Today is the first part of my book series and the second part is in process. Hope to release it soon.
The Literature Times: How do you view Indian writing in the twenty-first century? What changes do you see in today’s writing style? Do you feel it has been changed by the time?
Author: Well, I am not much aware of the writing style of early century writers but the most common thing I observed is the pattern followed is simple and more casual so the readers can relate to the characters and the scenes described in the book and this adaption really build a connection to the people who read the book.
The Literature Times: How simple/difficult was it for you to publish your book? What message do you want to send to aspiring authors?
