Pardeep Pathak Talks About His Book “Dil Ki Tamanna”

Pardeep Pathak is working in an automobile company for living and a poet by heart. He explores the interconnectedness of all human beings and his poems will take you across time, expose you to the nature and circle of life. In the times of COVID-19 pandemic, he contemplates his idea of life and human emotions closely and try to pen down his thoughts into words. Through his poetry collection , he is celebrating childhood memories,personal reflections and lived experience to form immediate emotional connection with the readers. He used very lucid language to create actual images in the mind of readers. He believes poetry gives purpose in life, vent to the emotions and settle down the thoughts which are queer.

The Literature Times: Welcome to The Literature Times, author. Congratulations on the release of your book. What responses are you getting from your readers? Please share your experience with this book.

Pardeep Pathak: It is very relaxing, when after reading everyone correlates themselves with the book.it is a new journey and it is boosting doze for me.

The Literature Times: What encourages you to become an Author?

Pardeep Pathak: I am having less friend’s to talk to so I started writing, to express myself, to share what I feel. Nowadays writing is my best friend.

The Literature Times: What are your favourite topics of writing? Please tell us something about your interest in literature.

Pardeep Pathak: I’m a very normal kind of person just like other’s. What a normal person lives same kind of feelings I have. But it is not possible to share every time, so they just keep their feelings with them only. I just try to reach out that feelings

The Literature Times: We were hoping you could tell us about some of those writers who had inspired you and whom you follow!

Pardeep Pathak: No there is no such idol for me, I love those whose lines touch deep inside, either it is new or any old writer’s line.

The Literature Times: The titles seem different and catchy; how you decided it? Please let us know the story behind it.

Pardeep Pathak: There are many desires which are usually not fully filled. That’s why I chose this name, Dil Ki Tamana. Which, never ever filled….

The Literature Times: What are your achievements so far? Tell us something about your writing career.

Pardeep Pathak: This is my first attempt in writing to be very honest. Talking about achievements ” Miles to go before I sleep…. Miles to go before I sleep. “

The Literature Times: What is your current goal in writing a career? How do you see your future in writing?

Pardeep Pathak: writing satisfying my inner hunger, it for my soul and heart.

The 2nd book is ready for publication.

Pardeep Pathak: As I said, the 2nd book is ready for publication, just fingers crossed.

The Literature Times: How you see Indian writing in the 21st century? What changes do you see in the modern way of writing? Do you feel it has changed by the time?

Pardeep Pathak: Yes, with time, writing has also changed, using new gadgets for writing, method of marketing, it is time of globalisation, taking help of social media and all is must in these days. These will help to reach out more people in an effective way.

The Literature Times: How easy/ difficult it was for you to publish your book? What message would you like to give to budding authors?

Pardeep Pathak: Not much at all, computers and google did it for me.
